    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw seal where axial dislocation hardly occurs in the seal even when the seal is deformed as the seal of the ball screw, and the seal hardly contacts a screw shaft even when dislocation of a cutting surface occurs.SOLUTION: A cut part 2 is formed at one part in the circumferential direction of a ring of this seal 1. A line (a line forming a cutting surface) 3 visible on the outer peripheral surface of the ring has a V-shaped form (a folded line). The seal 1 can be fitted to a screw shaft by opening the opposed cutting surfaces 21 and 22 of the cut part 2 by elastic force. When an axial load is applied to the seal 1, dislocation occurs in a direction shown by an arrow in Fig.1(d) and (e), and the seal 1 tends to move to the outside in the radial direction (in a direction separating from the center) even in any direction.
