    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas hot water supply apparatus, achieving accurate combustion characteristic to some degree while simple control is adopted, and exhibiting the original maximum output number even under the exhaust resistance.
      SOLUTION: Increase in exhaust resistance is detected according to a change in load current value of a fan motor, and the rotating speed of the fan motor is increased by predetermined amount each. As an upper limit to an output number computed value (S11) obtained by adding an FB control number to FF control number, from the original preset maximum output number, a number obtained by multiplying the up count of the fan rotating speed by a predetermined increase number is added to the preset maximum output number to obtain an enlarged change number, and it is changed to the enlarged change number (S12-S14). On the other hand, the preset maximum flow rate value (24 L/min) which is the upper limit value to the maximum flow (S21) in control, computed based on a temperature difference between the preset hot water delivery temperature and the inlet water temperature, is maintained as it is normal without exhaust resistance (S22-S24).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a connecting section, reduce the weight of component parts, reduce the number of junction parts and improve air- tightness reliability. SOLUTION: One end of a hot water falling pipe 9 is communicated with a water chamber in a circulating pump 5, i.e., a positive pressure section of it, and there is provided a temperature keeping heater 14 arranged at the hot water falling pipe 9. When the hot water falling operation is carried out, hot water flows from the hot water falling pipe 9 into a circulating pump 5, passes from a bath return pipe 4 to a bath heat exchanger 3 and the water is supplied from a bath going-pipe 7 to the bath tub. During circulating and heating operations, a hot water falling valve 11 is closed, the circulating pump 5 is driven and the hot water is supplied from a bath returning pipe 4, a bath heat exchanger 3 and the bath going-pipe 7 to the bath tub. Since a negative pressure is applied to a check valve 10 in the hot water falling pipe 9 during circulating and heating operations, it is possible to perform a positive prevention of reverse- flow of hot water toward the bath heat exchanger at the time of circulation of hot water in the bath.

SOLUTION: This is a freezing preventive device in a hot-water apparatus, and this has at least an electric heater 51 for prevention of freezing, actuated to prevent freezing at low temperature at or under a certain freezing prevention starting temperature, a temperature sensor 52 for prevention of freezing for detecting the air temperature at a place where the hot-water apparatus is installed the ambient temperature within the hot-water apparatus, or the water temperature within the pipe of the hot-water apparatus, and a water passage detection means 22 for detecting the quantity of passing water within the hot-water apparatus, and also this is provided with a controller 60 which takes in the data by the above water passage detection means 22, even if the main operation switch of the hot-water apparatus is set to off and will not perform current application to the electric heater for prevention of freezing, even if the temperature is at the freezing prevention starting temperature or under in the case that the quantity of passing water is judged to be at a certain reference flow rate or lower.

The operation of this gas combustion device is carried out in such a manner that the main on/off valve 10 is first opened for a short period of time before proceeding to an ignition operation, and the burner on/off valve 51 is then opened for a short period of time, thereupon the main on/off valve 10, the burner on/off valves 41, 51 and the diaphragm-type proportioning on/off valve 20 are continuously opened.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure an optimal water leak inspection regardless of the position of a thermal valve provided in a pipeline extending from the inside of a hot water supply apparatus to a heating terminal unit by setting the position of the thermal valve freely on the hot water supply apparatus side or the heating terminal unit side and controlling open/close of the thermal valve depending on the setting content. SOLUTION: When water leak inspection is performed, a water volume servo valve 1 is closed at first while a makeup water valve 30 and a thermal valve 33 are opened and a heating circuit B is evacuated by driving a circulation pump 31. The drop valve 2 of a drop circuit D and the water volume servo valve 1 are then opened to supply a predetermined quantity of water from the drop circuit D toward a bath circuit C. When the water level in a bathtub 10 reaches a specified one, a circulation pump 3 is driven to circulate water through the bath circuit C. After the bath circuit C is evacuated, a water leak inspection jig 4 is fixed to a circulation metal 7 and the drop valve 2 is opened to pressurize a closed circuit with the supply city water. A pressure sensor 5 measures pressure in the closed circuit under that state and water leak is inspected based on the pressure variation.
