SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing an accumulator plug whereby a vulcanized molding is performed with a poppet 4 being installed in a product cavity 22 in molding a plug body having a rubbery elastic film by the use of a molding die 21, provides a stepped part 25 on the inside wall of the product cavity 22 beforehand at the outer peripheral side of the poppet 4 disposed in a given position of the product cavity 22 and further forms a prescribed gap 26 in the radial direction between the side face 4a of the poppet 4 and the stepped part. The vulcanized molding is thus carried out with a part of molding material 3A being filled in said gap 26.

Accordingly the generation of fatigue on the seal parts 21, 31 in the initial period which is found on an end seal by a conventional technique, can be prevented, and the stable sealing performance can be ensured for a long period.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the early occurrence of a settling phenomenon in a seal member by providing, on the seal member, a seal lip which is pressed by the pressure of a sealed fluid, when an operating member is stopped by the contact with an end surface part or stopped by a stopper, and brought into close contact with the working member. SOLUTION: In the state where the end member 7 of a working member 6 moving toward an end surface part 3b is stopped by the contact with the end surface part 3a of a shell 3, the seal lip 22b of the seal member 22 of an end seal 21 is pressed by the pressure of a pressure chamber 9 that is a sealed fluid pressure and closely brought into contact with the end surface 7a of the end member 7, whereby a sealing effect is attained. Therefore, the sealing is performed in the state where the seal lip 22b of the seal member 22 is in close contact with the end surface 7a of the stopped end member 7 with a prescribed contact pressure. Accordingly, the seal member 22 having the seal lip 22b is never strongly nipped between rigid members, so that the early occurrence of a settling phenomenon in the seal member 22 can be prevented, and the stable seal performance can be ensured for a long period.
