    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for sludge water delaying setting of cement in sludge water, bringing about high dispersion effects when reused as sludge water to a cement composition, especially to the cement composition containing silica fume, improving strength of obtained hardened matter, still further, bringing about high dispersion effects to sludge water obtained from the cement composition obtained by using the sludge water, namely to the repeated use of sludge water.
      SOLUTION: This additive for sludge water is characterized in that the carbon number of the main chain calculated from the weight-average molecular weight and the average addition mole number of oxyalkylene groups of polyoxyalkylene group of the side chain satisfy the relation: 2≤(carbon number calculated from weight-average molecular weight)/(average addition mole number of oxyalkylene group of polyoxyalkylene group of side chain)≤10, in a polycarboxylic acid-based copolymer having a polyoxyalkylene group in the side chain.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium silicate hydrate solidification product having 0.04 μm or larger voids in an amount occupying not less than half of the total voids and being capable of being used for a wall wholly utilizable as a humidity conditioning material and to provide its synthesis method.
      SOLUTION: What is provided is: a calcium silicate hydrate solidification product at least 50% of the voids of which have a void diameter of 0.04 μm or larger as measured by mercury intrusion porosimetry and a method for obtaining the calcium silicate hydrate solidification product comprising using a lime material and a silica material as the main starting materials, kneading them in a water/powder mass ratio of 0.65 or higher, molding the kneaded mixture, and autoclaving the molding at 110°C or higher.
