    • PURPOSE:To prevent a surge controller from overrunning by comparing the output from a surge detecting means with a specified reference value to detect any unusual operation of a surge detecting means and constantly restraining creation of any surge. CONSTITUTION:If surging may occur, the target value of the inlet temperature of a turbine is reduced and then gradually returned to the original value. If a surging detecting means may fail, the malfunction of the surge sensor 16 is detected by comparing the output of the means with the reference value which corresponds to the signal value of the surge sensor 16 and fail-safe control is performed so as to restrain the target value of the inlet temperature of a turbine under the specified value. The occurrence of the surging may be thereby forcedly restrained so that the damage of an engine may be prevented.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent surging reliably from generating, by correcting a target speed according to a degree of detected surging, in a device making closed loop control so as to coincide a speed of a gas generator with the given target speed.
      CONSTITUTION: The titled controller computes a fuel supply quantity corresponding to a target speed based on the output of an accelerator opening sensor 17 in a control part 11 and controls a fuel supply device 8 to a combustor 7 according to a computed value of the control part 11. Feed back control is done so that an actual speed to be detected by a speed detector 13 of a gas generator coincides with the target speed. In this instance, intensity of surging is decided based on an output of a surge sensor 16 provided on a compressor 1. The target speed of the gas generator is corrected so that the surging is avoided according to a decision of the sensor 16. This correction is made to perform so that a speed after it has been once reduced is increased again gradually.

    • PURPOSE: To positively prevent the occurrence of surging without damaging driveability by detecting the surging of an engine to controllably correct a desired temperature in a compressor turbine inlet in the direction of avoiding the surging in response to the degree of the surging.
      CONSTITUTION: Surging is detected through variation in the differential pressure in an outlet and inlet of air to a compressor. The signal 16S is compared with BGL signal 112S through a filter 111 by a comparator 113 which generates detecting signal output 113S. This signal varies the width and number of pulse according to the degree of the surging. This signal is integrated by an integrator 114 and compared with a predetermined voltage by a comparator 115 to generate a judging signal output 115S. A function generator 120 generates a predetermined pulse width signal from the rise of the judging signal 115S, and an integrator 122 integrates said pulse width signal to provided a surging avoiding signal 122S. On the basis of this signal is generated the most efficient timing desired value signal. Thus, the occurrence of the surging can be prevented without damaging driveability.
