    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge transporting material containing a fullerene compound, keeping driving voltage of an organic EL element without dropping charge transportability of a charge transporting substance, and improving light transmittance of an obtained thin film, and also to provide charge transporting varnish.
      SOLUTION: The charge transporting material contains a fullerene compound having a polar functional group such as a hydroxyl group and the charge transporting substance. The charge transporting varnish contains the charge transporting material and an organic solvent, wherein the fullerene compound and the charge transporting substance are uniformly solved in the organic solvent.
