摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an invasion preventing apparatus for a ship, which can be easily installed in an existing ship and can further threaten illegal intruders.SOLUTION: The invasion preventing apparatus includes a flexible hose member 32 having a base end side connected to respective branch passages of respective T-shaped pipes provided at the upper deck and a front end side drooped toward the sea surface, a nozzle 33 provided at the front end side of the hose member 32, a spraying hole 33a provided at the nozzle 33 and sprays seawater W to generate a thrust force causing the front end side of the hose member 32 to swing, and a weight member 36 provided at the nozzle 33 to determine a swing width in the longitudinal and lateral directions of the front end side of the hose member 32 while keeping a balance with the thrust force. At a freeboard portion of the ship, the front end side of the hose member 32 irregularly moves to swing in the longitudinal and lateral directions, which becomes the threat to a pirate (illegal intruder). Since a seawater pump installed in advance in the ship is used for a driving source to cause swing motion of the hose member 32, this apparatus can be relatively inexpensively and easily installed in an existing ship.
