    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sneak canceler which can cancel an interference signal that turns to a receiver from a transmitter even when the transmitter has a large amplification factor.
      SOLUTION: A sneak canceler includes a plurality of weight multipliers for multiplying a received signal by a plurality of weight coefficients corresponding to each element of a receiving array antenna, an adder for adding an output of the weight multiplier to an output of a virtual path weight multiplier, a subtractor for subtracting a feedback signal from an output signal of the adder and outputting the subtracted signal as an error signal, a whitening filter for whitening the error signal, a delay line for causing the error signal to be delayed and outputting the delayed signal to the transmitter as an output signal, an adaptive filter for outputting the signal being an output signal to the transmitter to the subtractor as the feedback signal, a control module for controlling the adaptive filter based on the output of the whitening filter so that an interference signal is minimized, and a weight-variable control device for controlling a plurality of weight coefficients corresponding to the respective elements so that an error between an array output signal and a known input signal is minimized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the extraction effect of a desired signal in a selective fading environment if an interference signal is received in a receiver which improves communication quality.SOLUTION: A reception method improves a signal quality of a desired wave by controlling the filter coefficients of analog filters about which a plurality of delay elements and a plurality of multiplication elements multiplying the filter coefficient are respectively connected to a plurality of reception antennas. The reception method comprises the steps of: estimating an impulse response between an antenna transmitting a desired signal and a reception antenna before reception processing; calculating a filter coefficient vector comprised of a plurality of filter coefficients of the plurality of analog filters by use of the estimated impulse response; and performing weighting processing to received signals input from respective reception antennas by the calculated filter coefficient vector. The reception method is characterized by calculating the filter coefficient by minimizing a prescribed relational expression under a prescribed condition.
