    • PURPOSE:To produce efficiently laser irradiation traces at a desired pitch on the surface of an electrical steel sheet, etc. by disposing an irradiation trace detector just before a laser beam scanner to detect the irradiation traces by the scanner on the upper stream side and operating the scanner on the down stream side in accordance with the signal thereof. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd laser beam scanners 4a, 4b are disposed at a suitable spacing along the moving direction of a work 1. The irradiation trace detector 7 is provided on the upper stream side of the 2nd scanner 4b just before the same to detect the irradiation traces 6a made by the 1st scanner 4a. The signal S4 thereof and the signal S2 of a detector 8 for the movement of the work 1 are fed to a delay circuit 10. The 1st reference scanning signal S3 in which the pitch of the irradiation traces is twice the command value is made in accordance with the command signal S1 for the pitch of the irradiation traces and the speed detection signal S2. The signal S3 is inputted to the 1st scanner 4a which scans a laser beam 5a to make the parallel linear irradiation traces 6a. The signal S3 is inputted to a signal synchronizer 11 which converts the signal to the 2nd reference scanning signal S6 synchronized with the synchronizing signal S5 from the circuit 10 and inputs said signal to the 2nd scanner 4b thereby making the irradiation traces 6b.

    • PURPOSE: To decrease the number of laser scanners and to improve the efficiency, reliabiity, performance, etc., of a scanning system by subjecting the relation between the rotating angle of a rotary dividing mirror which divides a laser beam with time and the angle of oscillating mirrors for scanning to phase control, etc.
      CONSTITUTION: The laser beam 18 is changed over time-dividedly to transmission and reflection by the rotary dividing mirror 3 of an optical path selecting part 2. The transmitted beam 19a is scanned by the oscillating mirror 7a and is scanned at a microspot 9a to the surface of a steel sheet 10 by a lens 8a. The reflected beam 19b is scanned at a spot 9b by the oscillating mirror 7b and a lens 8b. The rotating speed of the mirror 3 is controlled by a rotation control device 12 on the basis of the moving speed of the sheet 10. The rotating angle of the mirror 3 and the oscillating angle of the morrors 7a, 7b are controlled by phase control parts 13a, 13b so as to have the specific phase relation in accordance with the signal from a rotating angle detector 11. The signals of the parts 13a, 13b are controlled with amplitude by amplitude control parts 14a, 14b and further the amplitudes of the mirrors 7a, 7b are controlled as well.
