    • PURPOSE:To measure the molten iron level in a torpedo car with simple constitution by detecting the beat signal due to the mixing of a transmitted and a received wave on which frequency modulation is imposed, and determining a slag level and slag thickness from its frequency and amplitude and then determining the molten iron level. CONSTITUTION:A microwave generating circuit 3 receives a modulation signal from a modulation signal generating circuit 1 and radiates a frequency- modulated microwave to a measurement surface from an antenna 2, and its reflected wave is received by the circuit 3, which detects a beat signal whose frequency fb satisfies an equation by mixing the transmitted and received waves. Then, a range arithmetic circuit 5 calculates the distance R1 from the antenna 2 to a slag surface from the synchronism of the beat signal and a beat signal amplitude detecting circuit 6 and a slag layer thickness arithmetic circuit 7 calculates the slag layer thickness according to the amplitude of beat signal. A molten iron level arithmetic circuit 8 measures the molten iron level in the torpedo car from both calculated values with the simple constitution. In the equation, A and B are constants and C is light speed.

    • PURPOSE:To inject liquid and to stop the injection automatically by detecting the tilt angle of a container which contains a body to be measured, correcting a control level showing the fullness of the container automatically, and outputting an alarm when the level in the container exceeds the control level. CONSTITUTION:A processor 1 is provided with a modulating signal generating circuit 11, an amplifier circuit 12, a period counting circuit 13, a level arithmetic circuit 14, an output circuit 15, a slant angle detecting circuit 16, a control level correcting circuit 17, a level comparing circuit 18, and a level warning circuit 19. Then, the processor 1 controls a microwave device 2 to radiate a microwave from an antenna 3, and detects the inclination theta1 of the container from a reflected wave from the body 6 to be measured to correct the control level; while the liquid is injected, the liquid level X is measured and outputted momently, and an alarm is outputted when the liquid level attains to the control level Xs. Consequently, the inclination of the container is detected and the control level is corrected and set automatically.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide conveyor chain equipment for conveyance in molten salt maintaining excellent lubricating state of a rotary roller part to be slidably rotated without any lubricant even when being immersed in high-temperature molten salt, thereby performing smooth conveyance. SOLUTION: The conveyor chain equipment for conveyance in molten salt has a large number of links connected to each other in the longitudinal direction, and rotary rollers which are rotatably provided on the links, the conveyor chain equipment receives the load when a metallic material in the austenitic state is placed on the links by the rotary rollers by loading the rotary rollers on a guide rail forming a conveyance line, and is driven along the conveyance line to immerse and cool the metallic material in molten salt of 400-600°C while conveying the metallic material.
