摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overload protection device having a selective block function, capable of effectively being used in the vicinity of the capacitor of a power cable, while suppressing the interruption of power transmission from a generating set to a minimum. SOLUTION: The overload protection device 10, having selective block function, is installed to a plant 12 that comprises a busbar; a plurality of generating equipment G1, G2 that are attached to the busbar, in parallel with each other; and a plurality of power cables La, Lb and Lc that feed power to the same power equipment 11 via the busbar. Current detectors CT1 to CT3 and first overcurrent relays 51-1a to 51-1c are arranged at the power cables La, Lb and Lc, and first blockers CB11, CB12 are arranged at the generating equipment G1, G2. When power transmission by the power cable La is interrupted, and current values detected by the current detectors CT2, CT3 of the other power cables Lb, Lc are detected as being overcurrents by the first overcurrent detectors 51-1b, 51-1c, the generating set G1 and/or the generating equipment G2 is separated from the busbar. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a field test method for a differential relay using an inrush current capable of enhancing a reliability of an operation test of the differential relay by omitting disconnection/connection work and simplifying the operation test by omitting a power source for testing. SOLUTION: Power equipment 13 has a power source 11 connected to its upstream side and an inductive instrument 12 comprising a transformer and/or a reactor connected to its downstream side. First current detecting devices CT1 and CT2 are respectively installed on the upstream side and the downstream side of a protection object section of the equipment 13. The field test method detects an abnormality in the protection object section by using current values i1 and i2 detected by the detecting devices CT1 and CT2 and further makes a judgement on connection of the relay 16. The inductive instrument 12 is turned on, and then the connection of the relay 16 is judged to be good or not on the basis of a shift between waveforms of both excitation inrushing currents inputted to the relay 16 by power-on of the instrument 12.
