摘要： PURPOSE:To make sure mobility as a load working car of compact loading and improve appearance of a car body by constructing a balancer weight out of a filling container of a hydrogen occulusion alloy and of a storage container in which a heating medium is provided flowingly. CONSTITUTION:A balancer weight 2 is loaded on the rear part of a car body so as to hold equilibrium of the center of gravity of the car body, and is formed in a shape similar to that of a general balancer weight, its outer surface being a storage container 3 composed of an insulator. In the storage container 3, tubular filling containers 4, 5 filled up with hydrogen occulution alloys that exhaust hydrogen gas based on heat exchange reaction are arranged, and an installation and derivation tubular passages 7, 8 are connected on the upper and lower parts, whereby a heating medium installed from the installation tubular passage 7 is flown in condition that the storage container 3 is filled up, and is derived from the derivation tubular passage 8. There are provided tubular passages 4a, 5a through which derived hydrogen gas is exhausted from the hydrogen occulution alloys in the filling containers 4, 5, and which are connected with a hydrogen engine through a main tubular passage 6, so as to supply hydrogen gas.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of measurement and to eliminate the need for a hydrogen flow meter by providing a hydrogen occluding alloy tank, heating medium flow passage, heating medium flow rate detecting means, upstream side temp. detecting means, downstream side temp. detecting means and heat quantity computing means. CONSTITUTION:The hydrogen occluding alloy tank 1 houses the metal hydride for releasing gaseous hydrogen in accordance with a heat exchange reaction. The heating medium flow passage 3 is disposed through the tank 1 in order to heat the metal hydride in this tank and allows the heating medium to flow. The heating medium flow rate detecting means 7 detects the flow rate of the heating medium. The upstream temp. detecting means 8 detects the heating medium temp. on the upstream side of the tank 1 and the downstream side temp. detecting means 9 detects the heating medium temp. on the downstream side of the tank 1. A CPU 10 as the heat quantity computing means computes the reaction heat quantity of the metal hydride corresponding to the quantity of the gaseous hydrogen released from the tank 1 in accordance with the respective detected values in the heating medium flow rate detecting means 7 and the temp. detecting means 8, 9.

Cooling water for the engine 2 is heated, and the hot water is allowed to flow in passage pipelines 11 from a circulating passage 4 through supporting pipe 5 and an intervening member 10 to heat the metal hydride 12 in the tank 3. Consequently, gaseous H2 is generated, discharged into the retention part 13 as the space in the tank 3, and then supplied to the engine 2 through a pipeline 17.

摘要： PURPOSE:To simplify the extent of maintenance management and aim at the reduction of cost as well as to secure good engine cooling and alloy heating by passing at least either of cooling water or lubricating oil of an engine through the inside of a vessel housing a metal hydride, and using it as a heat exchanger medium. CONSTITUTION:An engine 1 and an alloy tank 6 are interconnected to each other through a circuit 3, and cooling water turned to high temperature because of cooling this engine 1 is discharged into the circuit 3 by a water pump W. On the other hand, a metal hydride (hereinafter referred to as an alloy) is housed in a radiator, and this alloy is heated by the high temperature cooling water being fed, under pressure, out of the inside of the circuit 3, making it discharge hydrogen gas. In addition, the alloy tank 6 is interconnected to the engine 1 via a gas pipeline 11, and this hydrogen gas being fed out of the alloy tank 6 is ignited in the engine 1, driving this engine. Moreover, the high temperature cooling water is cooled when it heats the alloy in the alloy tank 6, and it is fed to the engine for cooling.

CONSTITUTION:A hydrogen fueled engine 2 adopts with hydrogen from an MH tank 1 as fuel, and discharges exhaust gas including nitrogen oxides. A computer 8 detects the amount (concentration) of nitrogen oxides with a signal from a NOx sensor 5, and detects a temperature of the exhaust gas from a signal of a temperature sensor 7. The computer 8 determines supplying amounts of hydrogen to the exhaust gas according to each detected result, and controls a flow amount adjust valve 4. In a catalyst converter 5, nitrogen oxide in the exhaust gas is reduced by hydrogen while mixture of hydrogen and the exhaust gas is passed therethrough.

A computer 11 detects the amount (concentration) of NOx with a sensor 10, determines supplying amounts of nitrogen and hydrogen to an ammonia synthesized catalyst 4, and controls a flow amount control valve 5 and a flow amount adjust valve 7. The computer 11 also controls a flow amount adjust valve 8, and mix ammonia from the ammonia synthesized catalyst 4 by a specified amount into the exhaust gas. A reduction catalyst 9 reduces nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas by ammonia in the ammonia synthesized catalyst 9.

Also, the expanding angle of atomization flow, etc., can be optionally regulated by altering the shape, sectio, and arrangement of the orifices.
