    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a strip road by effectively utilizing earth produced by excavation and iron and steel slag to a road body formed by the excavation, the strip road being easy maintained at low cost, preventing a heavy machine or the like from becoming hard to travel due to the road body scratched by rain and water generated from rainfall and water inflow, and providing a sufficient strength.SOLUTION: In a method for constructing a strip road forming a road body by using earth, a mixture obtained by blending earth mainly with 20 vol.% or more and 90 vol.% or less of iron and steel slag is used as a construction material for the road body which is not earth structure. The iron and steel slag contains 60 vol.% or more and 95 vol.% or less of steel slag and 5 vol.% or more and 40 vol.% or less of granulated blast furnace slag.
