    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lining structure in an industrial furnace such as heating oven and in a furnace with an atmosphere at higher than 1000°C for use in iron making facilities, having excellent FeO resistance, being capable of reducing heat loss in total of radiation heat quantity and storage heat quantity.SOLUTION: The lining structure for use in a furnace for iron making includes a refractory layer. The refractory layer includes: a surface layer material in which porous adiabatic aggregate having CaO-6AlOas a main mineral composition is blended; and a rear face material having physical properties such as lower thermal conductivity and lower bulk density compared to those of the surface layer material when using the furnace. The thickness ratio between the surface layer material and the rear face material is determined such that both of the radiation heat quantity and the storage heat quantity of the refractory layer when using the furnace are smaller than those of the entire refractory layer formed of the surface layer material alone. The surface layer material has a thickness of 10 mm or more.
