    • PURPOSE:To prevent an ingot member such as silicon from being damaged and to improve working efficiency by definitely positioning a supplying mechanism by a supporting means against a mounting base for a cutting device in mounting the above member on the supplying mechanism and cutting it. CONSTITUTION:A supplying mechanism 2 mounting an ingot member W is moved on rails 72 through a carrying truck 13, and is mounted on a mounting base 3 which has been raised or lowered by the lifting device 68 of a supporting base to fit their dovetails 67 each other. In the next stage, the ingot member W is approached to a cutting edge 7a composed of the row of wires fixed on a cutting device 5 by means of the lifting device 68, and is cut after its position has been adjusted by the feeding mechanism 22. The cut ingot member W is moved on the carrying truck 13 again as it has been mounted on the supplying mechanism 2, and is carried to a fix position to device into each wafer. Thus the wafer can be efficiently cut without its damage.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a wire from vibrating as well as to secure a highly accurate wafer in supporting the wire against a notch, by setting up paired guide rollers, supporting a wire row, at the opposite side to a cut work member holding the wire row in between at regular intervals. CONSTITUTION:A wire row is supported by paired guide rollers 60 and 61, while there is a space between grooved rollers 40b and 40c, and even if a wire 15 runs at high speed, the wire row is in no case vibrated and an interspace of wires is accurately kept up with each other, thus they are forcibly pressed to the work member W. And, in proportion as the work member W is made to go up, these rollers 60 and 61 are moved in both directions along an outer circumference of the work member W by a drive motor and leaving a slight space intact. That is to say, at the outset of cutting, these rollers 60 and 61 maintains the wire row 45, making the member W go up, and in proportion as cutting advances, roller intervals as 60a, 61a 60b, 61b 61c are widened open but after passing the center of the member W, intervals are reduced, coming to position of 60 and 61. Therefore, wire tension is made relatively into being small so that wire disconnection due to tension is preventable.

    • PURPOSE: To enable the accurate and automatic blending of raw cotton, by attaching a blender to a picking machine, and placing an air conveyor line between the blender and plural scraping and feeding apparatuses.
      CONSTITUTION: The blender M is attached to the picking machine C, and a conveyor line D to transport the scraped cotton with air stream is placed between the blender M and a multiple number of scraping and feeding apparatuses B1W B8. The picking machines C and the blenders M can be arranged in plural rows (e.g. 4 rows in the figure), and the scraping and feeding apparatuses B1WB8 are preferably divided into blocks according to the kinds of the raw cotton. Especially, the number of the scraping and feeding apparatuses B1WB8 is selected to meet the feeding rate of the raw cotton. A blended cotton having desired blend ratio can be obtained by controlling the driving of the scraping and feeding apparatuses in each block according to the blending schedule.

    • PURPOSE:To make the winding of a wire on a grooved roller performable so speedily and accurately, by installing a rotational device for a grooved roller unit attached to space between paired face plates and a wire guide device which synchronizes with the former and shifts toward a roller shaft.
