    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyisocyanate for flexible polyurethane slab foams, which has improved low temperature storage stability, low viscosity, and good workability, and to provide a method for producing the flexible polyurethane slab foam which has good productivity/moldability and whose density can be lowered.
      SOLUTION: This polyisocyanate for flexible polyurethane slab foams is obtained by charging and reacting the following polymeric MDI (diphenylmethanediisocyanate)(a) with the following polyol (b) in a (a)/(b) mass ratio of 80/20 to 95/5 and having an isocyanate content of 25 to 32 mass%. The polymeric MDI (a): the content of a binuclear compound component is 50 to 80 mass%, and the content of isomers except 4,4'-MDI in the binuclear compound component is 10 to 20 mass%. The polyol (b): a polyether polyol having a nominal average functional group number of 4 and a number-average mol.wt. of 5,000 to 10,000.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a flexible polyurethane foam for a heating carpet by integral molding with a surface material, excellent in productivity and physical properties, aiming at filling property compatible with curability. SOLUTION: This method for producing the flexible polyurethane foam for the heating carpet by the integral molding comprises reacting an organic polyisocyanate (A) described below and a polyol (B) in the presence of a catalyst (C) described below, a foaming agent (D) and a foaming conditioner (E), and in the absence of (halogenated)phosphoric esters in a mold where a surface material and heating elements are set in advance. The organic polyisocyanate (A) is an MDI-based polyisocyanate mixture (a1) of an MDI (a1-1) and an MDI-based polynuclear compound (a1-2) having ≥3 functional groups in a mass ratio (a1-1):(a1-2) of 30:70 to 70:30. The catalyst (C) comprises an isocyanate-reactive aliphatic tertiary amine (C1), an isocyanate-nonreactive aliphatic tertiary amine carboxylate (C2) and a heterocyclic aromatic tertiary amine (C3).
