摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for manufacturing a coated white cardboard capable of providing a good surface smoothness by forming a stable curtain film even when the coating speed is slow in a method for producing a coated white cardboard in which a coating layer is formed on a base paper by making the base paper pass through a curtain film of a coating liquid.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a coated white cardboard that includes forming a curtain film from two or more coating liquids and making a base paper pass through the curtain film to form two or more coating layers on the base paper. A solid concentration of the coating liquid for forming the coating layer closest to the base paper is lower than a solid concentration of the coating liquid for forming the coating layer outside the closest coating layer by 25% or more.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique based on curtain coating for manufacturing a coated white paperboard with high level of print gloss, which maintains high light scattering property of bulky coating layer with many voids characteristic of curtain coating while having adequate ink set property.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing coated white paperboard is capable of efficiently manufacturing a white paperboard with high whiteness degree, low white color unevenness and high level of print gloss by simultaneously coating multiple coating layers with a curtain film and defining coating weights of an overcoat layer, which is the outermost layer formed by the curtain coating, and an undercoat layer within a certain range even if a base paper with a white degree as low as 40 to 70% is used.
