SOLUTION: This windbreak and snow-protection fence, wherein a plurality of windbreak and snow-protection board units 39 is folded by being moved long the support 1, is characterized in that the units 39 are folded and housed in a plurality of places of the upper or lower part of the support 1 in a positionally adjustable manner by using engaging implements for a support, which are attached to/detached from the plurality of places of the upper and lower parts of the support 1. The windbreak and snow-protection fence is provided with support parts which are composed of horizontal holes for supporting support fittings to be attached to/detached from the plurality of places of the upper and lower parts of the support 1, and the detachable support fitting is equipped with a pin or a bolt.

SOLUTION: In the snow protection fence 1, a plurality of snow protection panels, which are foldably connected together between supports 2 arranged at a predetermined interval, are provided in such a manner as to be vertically movable along the supports 2; an upper part of the support 2 is provided with a rotary engagement device 15 which enables the engagement/disengagement of a horizontal rod 14 attached to the uppermost snow protection panel; and the device 15 is engaged/disengaged only by the vertical motion operation of the horizontal rod 14 of the uppermost snow protection panel.
