      SOLUTION: A magnification ratio determining portion 950 of an amplitude adjusting circuit 900 generates an amplitude or an attenuation magnification ratio signal S951 so that an amplitude ratio between signals may be not changed based on orthogonal detection signals S101, S102, S111, and S112 and amplitudes of output signals S901, S902, S911, and S912 may come close to a constant 1. Magnification ratio adjusting portions 910, 920, 930, and 940 amplify or attenuate the orthogonal detection signal S101 and the like by the common amplitude or attenuation magnification ratio signal S951, and obtain the signal S901 and the like. A detection signal calculation circuit 800 performs a multiplication calculation and the like to the signal S901 and the like, and outputs a dividend signal S171 and a divisor signal S181 for obtaining a demodulation signal S191.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an SSB signal receiver for demodulating an original signal more correctly as compared with a conventional case and removing noises on acoustic feeling, by performing calculation with a divider other than zero at any case in division processing for obtaining a demodulation signal of an SSB signal.
      SOLUTION: In the SSB signal receiver 1, by using a formula derived with a divisor signal S181 of a divider 190, which is not zero, the maximum amplitude of a carrier component S911 as an output signal of a noise removal circuit 900 and the maximum amplitude of an SSB signal component S912 are adjusted by amplitude ratio regulators 910, 920 (amplifier or attenuator). Here, A is the maximum amplitude of the carrier component S911, B is the maximum amplitude of the SSB signal component S912, G is an amplification degree of phase shifter 50, and ϕ is the phase shift amount.
