摘要： PURPOSE: The titled device preventing occurrence of crack, etc. of products, wherein a by-pass valve is opened and press pressure is reduced immediately after the press pressure of a plunger is detected, the plunger is lowered to the given final position, and excess press pressures is produced.
CONSTITUTION: In a device wherein the plunger 3 is lowered by the hydraulic cylinder 10 and a glass lump fed to the bottom mold 1 is press molded, the hydraulic piping 12 is provided with the pressure gauge 13 to detect press pressure of the plunger 3 and the by-pass valve 24 to reduce press pressure by a detected signal when the plunger 3 is lowered to the final position to produce excess pressure. Consequently, given glass products free from defects such as protruded pieces like fins are constantly prepared without being influenced by variability of weight of glass lump, difference of space of molds, etc.
