    • PURPOSE:To make the projection of a guide pin variable while to prevent falling of guide pin in a fuel injection pump, by securing the stopping section in a guide pin pass hole of housing while providing shallow and deep stopping grooves at the tip of the guide pin. CONSTITUTION:A guide pin 19 is provided while penetrating through housing 1 on the outer face of housing 1, and inserted in a guide groove 20 formed in a tappet body 6 of a tappet 5 at the tip. Consequently each tappet 5 is prevented from rotation and falling. The guide pin 19 is formed with shallow and deep cross-shaped stopping grooves 21, 22 in the head section 19a where the stopping section 24 is pressure inserted in a holding hole 25 made from the bottom of housing 1 toward a through-hole 23 then engaged with shallow stopping groove 22 of the guide pin 19 thus to prevent removal of guide pin 19.

    • PURPOSE:To largely enhance the performance of an air conditioner used for cooling a room by effectively utilizing the thermal energy of moisture usually wasted from a drain passage for condensed water. CONSTITUTION:A cooler 1 is supported in a case 2, which is provided with an air inflow duct 2a, a cold air blow-off duct 2b and the drain passage 2c for the condensed water formed at the time of cooling in the cooler 1. One end 4a of a heat pipe 4 is inserted into the drain passage 2c, while the other end 4b is placed in the air inflow duct 2a, and both ends 4a, 4b are thermally connected to fins 5 so as to accelerate heat exchange. Since the heat pipe 4 can transfer a large quantity of heat even with a small temperature difference by transferring the latent heat of evaporation and condensation of the working fluid sealed therein, a satisfactory heat exchange can be performed between the air flowing into the cooler 1 and the con- densed water, thereby enhancing the cooling power remarkably.

    • PURPOSE:To dispense with a restriction plate for constricting an air flow in an automobile air conditioner for cooling and heating and reduce the air flow resistance therein, by providing a heat pipe whose heat transfer surface is exposed at the down-stream side of a heater and in a by-pass. CONSTITUTION:Air passed through an evaporator 7 is caused by an air mix damper 9 to join air which is to pass through a heater 8. Blowoff port changeover dampers 14, 17, 18, 19 and the air mix damper 9 are appropriately shifted to blow off warm air from lower blowoff ports 15, 16 in winter and blow off cool air from lateral and central blowoff ports 20, 21, 22 in summer to perform air conditioning. To control the temperature of the blown-off air, the rato of flows is regulated. The difference between the temperatures of air is reduced, by a heat pipe 25 so that the distribution of temperature in a mixing chamber 10 is made uniform.

    • PURPOSE:To smooth out the flow of air in a centrifugal blower by using an intake port as an air passage through which intake air is introduced into a scroll casing and forming the passage so that its inside diameter expands toward a fan side. CONSTITUTION:An intake port 7 that introduces air into a fan 1 is provided between a scroll casing 2 and indoor-outdoor air change-over chest 3. Inside diameter D1' of the intake port 7 at its upstream side end 7a is smaller that that D1 at the downstream side end 7b, and the section of the intake port 7 varies straightforwardly, expanding from the upstream end 7a toward the downstream end 7b. Thus, air stream inside the intake port 7 is streamlined within this intake port 7 and flows smoothly into a space between an annulus 1c and a truncated-cone-shape connection member 1d. With this contrivance, intake air flows into a scroll casing after the air is streamlined while it passes the intake port, by which excellent noise reducing effect can be obtained.
