    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed that allow a user to rise the upper body and does not give an unpleasant feeling caused by pushing and pressuring the buttes when a user rises the upper body by erecting an upper body frame. SOLUTION: The bed is provided with the erecting/inclining possible upper body frame 3, link arms 61 and 62 mutually locked in parallel, a translation link 63 which is relatively rotatable over locking end parts of the link arms 61 and 62 and also which is relatively rotatably connected to the end part 3a of the upper body frame 3 at the side of a lower half frame 2, an upper body support arm 7 for supporting the rear surface 3b of the upper body frame 3 and a driving device 8 for erecting/inclining the upper body support arm 7. When the upper body support arm 7 is moved in the erecting direction of the upper body frame 3, the translation link 63 is translated in the locking direction of the link arms 61 and 62 by the link arms and, then, a connecting part with the end part 3a of the upper body frame 3 is pushed-up so as to draw a circular locus with the middle position of the surfaces 4a and 5a in mattresses 4 and 5 as a virtual axial center 0.
