摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content encrypting device enabling a viewer who has not obtained a license to somewhat confirm the details of content while protecting the copyright of the content, and preventing malfunctoin of a conventional receiving device. SOLUTION: The content encrypting device 1A is provided with: a slice extracting means 13 for extracting an encryption target slice and a non-encrypting slice from a digital content so that they can be separated; a slice encrypting means 14 for encrypting the encryption target slice with an encryption key to generate an encryption slice; a surrogate slice generating mean 15 for generating a surrogate slice as a surrogate of the encrypted slice coded with the coding system same as that of the non-encryption slice; a multiplexing means 16 for multiplexing the non-encrypted slice, the encryption slice and the surrogate slice; and a license generating means 17 for generating a license including the encryption decrypting key and the encryption target information.
