    • PURPOSE:To provide the titled member suitable for a sheetlike slide material used as a recording cassette tape etc. by cutting operation of a thinned specific molding body obtained by extruding the mixed powder of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and graphite. CONSTITUTION:Mixed powder of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene powder (A) (average molecular weight 10 -6X10 approx., average particle size 180-8,000mum approx.) of 75-95wt% and graphite powder (B) (content of fixed carbon 90% approx. min., average particle size 1-60mum approx.) of 5-30wt% is extruded by a biaxial screw extruder to provide an extrusion molded piece like a round rod, etc. Then, this molded body is cut to prepare a sliding thin film member (the surface roughness is preferred to be approximately 10mum max.).
