    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent operation from being lost by electromagnetic coupling among a plurality of antenna element each for initiating read/write of RFID tags attached to a number of collected article media. SOLUTION: An antenna for article management initiates read/write of RFID tags attached to article media collected and preserved on a shelf 500. The antenna comprises: a plurality of loop-shaped antenna elements 100, 200 disposed at fixed intervals in parallel with the shelf whereon the collected article media are preserved; a first switch 501 for selectively feeding power to the plurality of antenna elements; and a plurality of second switches 103, 203 which are inserted into loops of the plurality of antenna elements and electrically disconnect the loop of a plurality of other antenna elements, other than one antenna element, so as not to resonate the plurality of other antenna elements while the one antenna element to which power is supplied by the first switch, is resonated.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the optimum antenna structure for a wearable antenna.
      SOLUTION: In an antenna wherein an antenna plane consists of a conductive plane, the antenna plane consisting of a conductive plane can spread out and the antenna plane consisting of a conductive plane is formed with a main slit having an open end opened to part of an edge of the conductive plane and a short-circuited end short-circuited by the conductive plane and a sub-slit which cuts across the main slit. The sub-slit has folded-back portions in the end parts close to edges of the conductive plane. Since the antenna plane consisting of the conductive plane can spread out, when the antenna is worn, for example, on clothes, the antenna plane consisting of the conductive plane spreads out in conformity with the body shape of a wearer and functions as an antenna and moreover, the wearer of the antenna feels a better sense of comfort with the antenna.
