    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide multiple iron oxide particles for a ferrite formed body, in each of which manganese is uniformly contained, and which have an apparent bulk density higher than that of octahedral particles and a BET specific surface area larger than that of polyhedral particles having a BET specific surface area larger than that of the octahedral particles, are small in the volume change when they are used as a raw material of ferrite, do not cause pores, air bubbles and cracks in a fired material and exhibit excellent reactivity when they are fired.
      SOLUTION: The multiple iron oxide particles for the ferrite formed body contain, as included element, manganese in an amount of 3-20 wt.% expressed in terms of manganese, and have a spinel crystal structure as a main structure and an average particle diameter of 0.05-0.5 μm in terms of Feret's diameter. In the multiple iron oxide particles, particles having a hexagonal shape are contained in a certain ratio.

The present invention adopts the electrophotographic developer, consisting of the carrier and a toner.
