摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gateway device capable of transferring call voice signals in real time to personal computers (PCs) that are connected to a LAN interface, and of storing the call voice signals on hard discs of the PCs without mounting such recording storages as hard discs.
SOLUTION: A telephone system comprises a gateway device 1 connected to an outside line and extension; the main unit of a key telephone system or a PBX 3 connected to the gateway device 1, a plurality of extension telephones 5 connected to the main unit of the key telephone system or PBX 3, and a plurality of PCs 7 that are connected to the gateway device, and the extension telephones 5 and PCs 7 are positioned correspondingly to the gateway device 1. The gateway device 1 has an associated database in which addresses of the extension telephones 5 are associated with those of the PCs 7 and stored therein. When the gateway device 1 receives a call recording request from the PC 7, it determines whether the PC 7 is compatible with the extension telephone 5, and when it is determined that the PC 7 is compatible with the extension telephone 5, it transfers the call voice signal of the extension telephone to the PC 7.
