    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check falling-off by centrifugal force and vibration of a shock absorbing wave spring installed in a piston of a multiple disc type friction clutch. SOLUTION: A holding groove 31 is arranged in the piston 3 of the multiple disc type friction clutch, and the shock absorbing wave spring 6 is stored. An annular projection 32 having an inclined face 33 on an outer peripheral inner diameter surface, is formed in the holding groove 31. A cross section of the wave spring 6 is formed in a deformed line cross-sectional shape 64 having an inclined part 65 corresponding to the inclined face 33 on an outer diameter surface. Thus, even if the wave spring 6 tries to fall off from the holding groove 31 due to the centrifugal force and the vibration, falling-off from the holding groove 31 can be checked since the inclined faces 33 and 65 contact with reach other.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase control efficiency of a V pulley and reduce size and weight of a drive motor by arranging a V pulley control mechanism driving and controlling the V pulley by the drive motor between the drive motor and the V pulley and constituting the control mechanism by a clutch mechanism and a one-way clutch part. SOLUTION: A ball screw mechanism 5 for moving a movable sheave 3 of a V pulley 1 which is a primary pulley of a belt type continuously variable transmission in the axial direction is provided to transmit driving force of a V pulley control mechanism 10 to an outer sleeve 6 fitted into an inner sleeve 7 of the mechanism 5 through balls 8,... rolling along a ball groove. The V pulley control mechanism 10 is provided with an electric motor 19 to transmit its rotation torque to a gear 14, a clutch tightening member 13, a one-way clutch part 27, a piston 12, and an intermediate shaft 9 provided with a gear part 9a meshing with the piston 12. The movable sheave 3 is moved in the axial direction by a gear part 6a of the outer sleeve 6 meshing with the intermediate shaft 9.

    • PURPOSE:To automatize the shift of power by providing a clutch-shoe receiving part by extending in the axial direction the cage of a cylindrical roller type two-way clutch having an arch-shaped cam surface, and by displacing the clutch shoe by a centrifugal force so that it can slide with an external member. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical roller 30 is provided between a turning shaft 10 and a clutch outer-ring 20 to which power is transmitted, and is retained by a cage 40. The inner surface of the outer-ring 20 is made to be an arch- shaped cam surface, and the clutch connection is carried out by the wedge action with the roller 30. The cage 40 is extended in the axial direction to receive a clutch shoe 60 so as to be capable of being slid in the radial direction. The clutch shoe 60 is retained by a plate spring 70 and a guide plate 90. As the rotation of the outer-ring 20 and the cage 40 rises, the clutch shoe 60 is brought to slide with a fixed member 100 by a centrifugal force, and by the frictional force thus caused, it is given a torque in the reverse direction to move the cage 40 for producing the wedge action of the roller 30. By the movement of the cage, the changeover of the clutch can be automatically carried out.

SOLUTION: This pressure control valve 50 with the single weight 52 is formed by inserting the weight comprising a flange part 71 and a cylindrical part 72 into the caulking hole of the valve plate 51 through the cylindrical part 72 and caulking the valve plate. The valve plate 51 functions as a leaf spring. The weight is caulked correctly on the lateral centerline of the valve plate 51, and its shape is symmetrical with respect to the centerline.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of noise during transmission of power and wear of a metallic barrel. SOLUTION: A metallic barrel 11 comprises a drum part 23 provided at two ends with arcuate contact surfaces 21 making contact with the V-shaped groove (the slopes of a fixed sheave 17 and a moving sheave 19) of a pulley 3; and a head part 25 in a flat shape extending from the central part of the drum part 23 to above. A pair of right and left rings insertion grooves 27 are formed into which four hold rings 13 are inserted. The drum part 23 is provided with an engaging part 31 on the protrusion side in a protrusion semispherical shape formed approximately on the central part of a front and meanwhile, an engaging part 33 on the recess side in a recessed semicircular shape corresponding to the engaging part 31 on the protrusion side formed in the same position of a rear surface, and through fitting of the engaging part 31 on the protrusion part with the engaging part 33 on the recess side, the adjoining metallic barrels 11 are engaged and coupled with each other. Further, the circular arc of the contact surface 21 forms a part of a circle (shown by a dot-dash line) centering around the engaging parts 31 and 33.
