摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain manganese oxide and zinc oxide suitable for the material of soft ferrite by selecting a manganese dry battery for pulverization, and filtering powder, mainly composed of positive electrode active material, and washing it, and calcining it. CONSTITUTION:Selection on the basis of shapes, weight, colors and bar codes or the like are appropriately combined to select manganese dry batteries among waste dry batteries, and the selected manganese dry batteries are divided into two types of black and red. The black type is pulverized by a pulverizer with a screen, and filtered by a filter 2mm in mesh. Power, which is mainly composed of the mix less than 2mm, is washed by the ion exchange water, and filtered, thereafter, the solid is dried, and calcined in the deoxidizing atmosphere at about 800 deg.C for about 1.5 hours. This calcined material is pulverized by a pulverizer with a screen having a filter 0.3mm in mesh to obtain MnO at about 60% by weight and ZnO at about 30% by weight. Over-sized material is winnowed by air and the magnetic force, and sorted for recovery into paper sheets, iron, zinc and carbon or the like.
