    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain filter media and filter which have filtration performance in comparison with that of filter paper by ordinary sheet making and are easily and inexpensively producible to arbitrary shapes by thermally molding material for the filter media containing adhesive fiber processing materials having adhesives on the surfaces of fibers or threads. SOLUTION: A filter body 2 having cylindrical filter media 2b on a peripheral side of a central cylindrical body 2a having water permeability is arranged into a case member 1 of a blind cylindrical shape via a leaf spring 3 at its bottom. Also, a recessed groove of a tubular body 4 for a valve having a tray- like valve disk 4a consisting of a flexible material is brought into abutment on the top end of the central cylindrical body 2a. Further, a ceiling plate member 5 having a threaded hole 5a communicating with the central cylindrical body 2a and a circumferential through-hole 6b is brought into abutment on the inside surface at the upper end of the tubular body 4 for the valve. As a result, a cartridge oil filter 7 inserted with the filter body 2 in a metallic case 6 is constituted. At this time, the cylindrical filter media 2a are formed by thermal molding of the material containing the adhesive fiber processing materials having the adhesives on the surfaces of fibers, etc.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of part, items making light-weighted, improval of handling, and reduction of a manufacturing cost and an assembling cost by a method wherein a spring component and a relief valve are integrated into one body, a part of the spring component is used as a valve seat, and a valve disc is formed by a leaf spring or it is used by being combined with a flat spring. Further, a filter 2 is equipped onto one end side of a cylinder body 3a of a support member 3, an end edge of a cylindrical body 3a and a plate 3c are contained, and a valve element 7 is fitted onto the other end side of the cylindrical body 3a. Furthermore, that wherein the mounting plate 1b is integrated with a blocking plate 1e is inserted into a mounting hole of the valve element 7, the mounting plate 1b is mounted onto a peripheral edge of an opening part of the case 1, and the filter 2 is contained in the case 1 and pinched between the filter-retaining leaf spring 5a and the blocking plate 1e.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pollutant separating device for sewage which substantially prevents the occurrence of the deterioration in performance by clogging and is usable for a long period of time by providing the pollutant separating device for separating the pollutant in the sewage with a packing material assemblage layer which suspends and assembles the non-settling packing materials. SOLUTION: The sewage is introduced from an introducing pipe 3 and the packing materials 8... housed in a treating vessel 2 are suspended as the sewage is housed therein to form the packing material assemblage layer 9. The water is passed through this layer. The sewage, then, ascends by passing the spacing and gaps of the packing materials 8 and the pollutants come into collision against the packing materials 8 during the course of this ascending, by which the passage thereof is prohibited. The filtered sewage is drained from a discharge pipe 4 via a separating body 4a. The particles of the pollutants prohibited of the passage settle gradually downward and accumulated on the bottom in the final. At this time, the discharge pipe 4 rises at the outer part of a takeout part from its inflow part. When this rising position is set at the same position as the position of a water surface, the taking out of the more treated water of the water surface is made possible.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treating filter for effectively removing odorous components produced in used water in a fish tank, particularly ammonia, by incorporating a deodorant in a porous base material of a formed body made of a porous material. SOLUTION: In a water treating filter for purifying water in a fish tank or the like for keeping goldfish, tropical fish and the like, a deodorant and a deodorant holding additive for at least holding this deodorant are incorporated in a porous base material of a formed body made of porous material. As this deodorant, an iron compound based deodorizing catalyst is used. The porous material is not particularly limited as far as it is porous, and for example, nonwoven fabric, woven fabric, knit fabric, paper made, metal nets, porous ceramics and the like are exemplified. The porous base material is formed into, for example, a flat platy, a cylindrical, a tubular, a lumpy filler or the like.
