摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker of a vertical split case type preventing a gap being generated at the end part of the case, even if a strong torque is applied to the screw terminal for detaching and attaching the electric cable.
SOLUTION: The circuit breaker of a vertical split case type has a screw terminals 15, 16 at the end part. A case fixing part 17 for fixing the spilt case piece 11, 12, 13 each other is provided on the case 10, at an outer side of the screw terminal 15, 16 to prevent opening of the case end part. A gap between the screw terminals 15, 16 and the case 10 is set narrower in the longitudinal direction of the case than the width direction of the case to surely prevent generation of a gap. Preferably, bosses are protrusively provided on the right and left split case pieces 11, 13 to make the tip surfaces of these bosses abut to fix.
