摘要： PURPOSE:To accurately specify the thickness of a low melting point glass powder sheet having low melting point glass frit and resin binder as main components and an adhesive layer thereby to obtain a stable bonding by laminating the sheet on a ceramic base, thermally decomposing the binder and securing a semiconductor element. CONSTITUTION:A glass powder sheet is formed by mainly containing PbO-B2O3 glass frit and an acrylic resin, adding as a dispersant lauric acid, as a plasticizer dioctylphthalate and as a solvent toluene, mixing the mixture by a ball mill at ambient temperature, and then casting it on a polyester film by an applicator. An adhesive which mainly contains isobutyl methacrylate is coated on a separating sheet, and transferred to the glass sheet. Then, the glass sheet is bonded to an alumina base, heated at approx. 500 deg.C to thermally decompose a binder to be laminated under pressure to finish the bonding.

CONSTITUTION: The metallic powder molding 3 obtd. by rolling the mixture composed of metallic powder and synthetic resin binder is adhered and fixed via the thermosetting resin compsn. 2 to the surface of a metallic base material 1. The entire part in the circumferential edge part positioned outward with respect to the material 1 surface of the molding 3 is thereupon preliminarily chipped and is worked in such a manner that the chipped surface 3a is tapered in the thickness direction. The compsn. 2 assists the adhering and fixing until the molding 3 is sintered and the sintered metallic layer 4 joined securely with the material 1 is formed when the entire part thereof is subjected to a sintering treatment in a nonoxidative atmosphere. The surface part of the molding 3 shrinks in the thickness direction and the surface direction during the above-mentioned process but the tensile stress is relieved by the presence of the surface 3 and the generation of a camber as with the conventional layer is obviated with the layer 4. The surface having good dimensional stability in not only the surface direction but also the thickness direction is thus made uniform.
