    • PURPOSE:To effectively remove solvent in solvent-containing waste water with small-size equipment and without generating mist by passing solvent-containing waste water through a hollow yarn membrane of a 3-layer structure consisting of a gas permselective homogeneous membrane whose surfaces are covered with hydrophobic porous membranes. CONSTITUTION:When treating a solvent-containing waste water 9 taken out from environmental equipment products, the waste water 9 flows inside hollow yarn membranes 17 constituting a hollow yarn membrane module 10 and air is made to flow outside the hollow yarn membrane 17. Difference between partial pressure of the solvent corresponding to the solvent concentration in the waste water 9 and that of the solvent in the air 11 becomes driving force to remove the solvent from the waste water 9 to the air 11, and the solvent is discharged as waste gas 12. Waste water from which solvent was separated is taken out as treated water 13. As the hollow yarn membrane 17, that of a 3-layer structure wherein a thin homogeneous membrane 19 with high gas passability is set between hydrophobic porous membranes 18 is used.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce quantity of heat in case of removing water from the mixed liquid of a solvent and water by firstly evaporating the mixed liquid in an evaporator to generate the mixed vapor and using a gas separation membrane to selectively separate stream and thereafter completely dehydrating it by distillation. CONSTITUTION:Mixed liquid 1 is introduced into an evaporator 2 to evaporate it and the vapor is fed to a gas separation module 17 and stream is separated herein. A vacuum pump 15 is provided to the permeable side of the membrane of this module 17 to decompress it and the permeating steam 13 is condensed in a condensor 7 and discharged to the outside of this system as permeating water 14. On the other hand, the concentrated mixed vapor is sent to a distillation column 5 and subjected to fractional distillation. In case of a soln. having b.p. higher than water, water is recovered from the top of the column and the amount to be used of steam generated from a boiler is reduced to about 2/5 of the amount required for removing water by only fractional distillation. Even in case of the soln. having b.p. lower than water, heat energy is reduced by about 10-15%.

    • PURPOSE: To reduce the cost of a combustion treatment apparatus, by performing the steam desorption of the solvent adsorbed by an adsorbing apparatus and condensing solvent-containing steam while quantitatively supplying the condensate to a combustion furnace as a fuel oil additive of said furnace.
      CONSTITUTION: Solvent-containing exhaust gas 11 is guided to an adsorbing tank 12 to perform the adsorptive collection of the solvent in said gas. After a definite time, desorbing steam 14 is sent to the adsorbing tank 12 to desorb the solvent which is, in turn, sent to a preheater 15 along with the steam mixed gas and condensed through the heat exchange with combustion air 18 while the condensate is stored in a receiving tank 16. The condensate is sprayed into preheated air by a pump 17 to form a gaseous mixture. Preheated air is further raised in its temp. through the heat exchange with combustion gas in a heat exchanger 19 and subsequently sent to a combustion furnace 21 and burnt. The combustion gas issued from the heat exchanger 19 is sent to a waste heat boiler 22 to generate steam 25 and exhausted from a chimney 23. The generated steam 25 is supplied as the desorbing steam 14 from a steam header 26.
