摘要： PURPOSE:To improve air bleeding of a brake cylinder to be used in a drum brake. CONSTITUTION:Cylinder holes (first and second cylinder holes 3, 4) are respectively formed in approximately vertical direction of a cylinder body 2, and a pair of pistons (first and second pistons 31, 41) are slidably housed in both cylinder holes 3, 4, and respective fluid chamber (first and second fluid chambers 32, 42) are formed by a bulkhead 21 for sectioning a pair of pistons 31, 41 and respective cylinder holes 3, 4, and at least one passage (a passage 52 of a groove, a passage 53 of an inner hole) for communicating both fluid chambers 32, 42 with each other are provided. And an inflow passage 51 for introducing fluid into the second fluid chamber 42 and an outflow passage 54 for discharging fluid to the first fluid chamber 32 are provided. Since the inflow passage is connected to the second fluid chamber 42 on the lower side, and since the outflow passage is connected to the first fluid chamber 32 on the upper side, brake fluid is circulated from the lower side to the upper side in the cylinder, thereby air can be naturally and completely discharged by effectively making use of characteristics that air is raised.

SOLUTION: In a holder 20 of a brake shoe 14 formed in such a way that a tip part of a shoe holding bolt 21 is loosely fitted to and penetrated into a hole bored in a web 17 of the brake shoe 14, and both upper and under surfaces of the shoe web 17 are slidably sandwiched in the brake radial direction by an upper nut 27 and a lower nut 24 making a pair of upper and lower ones screw-fitted to the shoe holding bolt 21, a spring 30 is contractedly arranged between the lower nut 24 and a stationary member 110 of the lower nut 24 or the shoe holding bolt 21, and a lower part of the spring 30 is nonrotatably and hookingly fastened to the stationary member 110 or the shoe holding bolt 21, and an upper part of the spring 30 is engaged so as to regulate autorotation of the lower nut 24, and is constituted so as to be energized straightly upward.
