    • PURPOSE:To produce an injection molded article having a transferred pattern layer and free of cracks or wrinkles by a method wherein a transfer sheet is perfectly closely contacted to the inside surface of a receiving mold by an elastic body, and after heat-forming the sheet, a molten resin is injected into the mold. CONSTITUTION:The transfer sheet 3 consisting of a base sheet 1 and a transfer layer 2 is placed on the receiving mold 5 with the transfer layer 2 directed upward, then the transfer sheet 3 is pressed by the elastic body 6 (rubber, sponge or the like) and is heated to perfectly closely contact the sheet 3 to the inside surface of the mold 5. Therefore, the elastic body 6 is removed, an injection mold 7 is clamped onto the receiving mold 5 and the molten resin 8 is injected into the mold. After the resin is solidified, the mold is opened and the patterned plastic molded article 9 having the transfer layer 2 is separated from the base film 1. The heating of the transfer sheet 3 is carried out by heating the elestic body 6 or the receiving mold 5, or by directly heating the sheet 3. Accoringly, generation of cracks or wrinkles is prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the molded product having various patterns by one metal mold, by placing a base sheet on which water-soluble resin film is provided on the inner surface of the metal mold, filling melted resin, separating the base sheet after cooling and solidification, and washing out the water soluble resin layer. CONSTITUTION:On the base sheet 1 such as nonductile nylon film, is partially formed the water soluble resin layer 2 such as methyl cellulose by screen printing and the like. The sheet is placed on the metal mold so that the bottom surface of the sheet contacts with the inner wall of the metal mold. Then the melted resin is filled in the metal mold 3 by an injection molding machine and the like. After the cooling and solidification, the sheet 1 is separated. Then the water soluble resin layer 2 is removed by washing, and the intended molded resin product 5 having the concave and convex pattern is obtained. Furthermore, a pattern is printed on the surface of the molded product by using a sheet wherein a pattern layer 4 is provided on a water soluble resin 12, and a molded resin product having an excellent design which is harmonized with the concave and convex pattern can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a new decorated surface by a method in which a decorated surface-forming sheet consisting of a base sheet and a layer composed of a foaming agent, etc., is put in contact with molds, a molten resin is injected into the molds, the said layer composed of a foaming agent, etc., is expanded and cooled for solification, the molding is taken out of the molds, and then the base sheet is separated from the molding.
      CONSTITUTION: A decorated surface-forming sheet 5, obtained by providing orderly the first coat 2 composed of a foaming agent, a filler and a resin, the second coat 3 composed of a foaming agent and the same resin as the resin in the first coat 2, and an adhesive layer 4 on the surface of a base sheet 1, is put in molds 6 in contact with the inner surface of the molds 6. Then, a molten resin is cast into the molds 6, the first and second coats 2 and 3 are expanded and cooled for solidification, the resin molding 7 is taken out of the molds 6, and then the base sheet 1 is separated from the molding 7. Thus, a resin molding whose outer surface is provided with a new decorated surface, or the intarlayer peeled surface of the expanded first coat can be obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To facilItate painting with three-dimensional effect, by floatng a hydrophilic support sheet provided with the picture layer of a thermally transferable paint on the surface of water, pressing and sinking a three-diemsnional structure from the upside into the water, and then raising and heating the structure to transfer the picture onto the surface of the structure. CONSTITUTION:A picture layer 2 is formed onto a hydrophilic or water-soluble support sheet 1 by an ink containing a thermally transferabke paint such as a sublimative dyestuff. The support sheet 1 is floated on the surface 4 of water, in the state that the picture layer 2 is at its upside. Before or after the support sheet 1 is floated on the surface of water, a solvent or an adhesive 5 is applied onto the picture layer 2. Thereafter, a three-dimensional structure 3 made of a material dyeable with the thermally transferable dyestuff, e.g. a pottery provided with a synthetic resin film on its surface, an aluminum article provided with an anodically oxidized film layer, etc., is brought in contact with the picture layer 2 and sunk into the water, to tack the picture layer 2 onto the surface of the structure 3. The structure is then raised from the water as such, and heated to transistor the thermally transferable dyestuff in the picture layer 2 onto the surface of the structure 3. Thus, painting is done.

    • PURPOSE: To enable printing on a cubic structure by printing the pattern of thermally migrational dye on a hydrophilic sheet, substrate, by placing the sheet on a object to be printed, temporarily adhered with water, and transferring the pattern by drying and heating.
      CONSTITUTION: A pattern sheet 2 is made by printing on one side of the support film 1 made of hydrophilic or water-soluble material with water-insoluble ink containing thermally migrational dyes as colorants and it is placed on a cubic structure 3 on which adhesive 6 is applied by a spray 4. Further the support film 1 is dissolved or softened and adhered provisionally by supplying water or hot water from the upper spray 5, and is dried. Then, thermally migrational dye 8 is migrated and dyed to the surface layer of the cubic structure 3, and finally the residue is removed by washing and it is finished by buffing.
