    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cracks due to transfer of powders by controlling liquid cylinders at such a velocity that the ratio of the dimension of a power part pressed with a movable punch and an opposing punch to the dimension of the powder part pressed with an upper ram equals to the ratio of the dimension of a corresponding product. SOLUTION: The velocity of the upper 1 cylinder 31 and lower 1 cylinder 41 is controlled based on the velocity previously set in a controller in correspondence to the position of the upper ram 102 so that the ratio of the dimension of the powder part between the upper 1 punch 11 and lower 1 punch 12 to the dimension of the powder part between the upper 2 punch 12 and lower 2 punch 22 pressed corresponding to the stroke of the upper ram 102 equals approximately to the ratio of the dimension of the corresponding part of a final mold product all over pressing processes. By this way, a control valve controlling based on the set velocity is provided with, the powder part is approximately pressed at the same ratio, whereby cracks due to transfer of powders and defective mold are largely reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the powder molding press which facilitates the attachment and detachment of a die set to be mounted between the upper ram and lower ram of a press body and improves the accuracy of molded articles. CONSTITUTION:The upper part within the lower ram 4 into and from which a yoke plate 2 of a die set 1 is inserted and removed is provided with a gap adjusting screw 16 to be screwed down in a vertical direction. A fluid actuator 23 and other rotation driving means are mounted to the lower part of the lower ram 4. A driving shaft 24 of the rotational driving means is connected to the tap adjusting screw 16 by a connecting shaft 19 penetrating the axial center of the lower ram 4. The gap adjusting screw 16 is retreated into the lower ram 4 to assure a sufficient gap between the yoke plate 2 and the lower ram 4 at the time of mounting the die set 1 to the press body A. After the die set 1 is inserted into the yoke plate 2, the gap adjusting screw 16 is advanced and is abutted to the yoke plate 2, by which the die set is fixed in the state of the nearly zero gap not free from a play.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the upper surface part of a workpiece from being damaged by freely fitting a positioning pin and a key part into the center part of a workpiece and projecting the key part and fitting the key into a keyway at the center, in a device for positioning the workpiece by an intermittent feeding device. CONSTITUTION:When a workpiece W is shifted to positioning position by the intermittent turn of a turntable 1, the positioning pin 16 of an attachment 12 installed on a centering adapter 8 is freely fitted in the center hole Wa of the workpiece W, together with a key 17. Further, when the centering adapter 8 lowers, and the top edge of the pin part 31 of the positioning pin 16 contacts the upper surface of a table T, a position pin block 36 is pushed up against an urging spring 21. Accordingly, a gap is generated between the lower edge of an alarm 34 and the flange 30 of a clamp ring 15, and the key 17 is put into waiting the spring-out state from an assembled recessed part 32. At this time, if the centering adapter 8 is turned in a prescribed direction, key part 35 is fitted with the keyway Wb of the center hole Wa, and the key 17 turns in the counterclockwise direction, and fitted with the keyway Wb.
