    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize received power from a commercial power system, by operating to lower the revolutions command value in response to differential power when the received power has fallen below a target value of the lowest received power to reduce generating power of a generator, thereby accelerating control of the generating power. SOLUTION: If the received power detected by a received power detector 15 is larger than a target value of the lowest received power, an output of a subtracter in a correction signal generator 13 is positive. Thus, an output of a functional circuit becomes zero, and no correction signal is generated. If the received power becomes a target value or lower of the lowest received power, an output of the subtracter becomes negative, and a signal responsive to the value is outputted from the functional circuit. The correction signal is generated by a signal obtained by integrating the signal by an integrating amplifier, and a rotational speed command value of a governor 8 is reduced. Accordingly, the received power is recovered. The correction signal is increased until generating power is recovered to the target value of the lowest received power, and then maintained at its value after the recovery, and hence the received power can be held at the target value.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of parallel operation of multiple units of internal combustion type power generator through synchronization by connecting automatic voltage regulator to the field circuit of each synchronous motor with the operation of a switch, when the power generator outputs a low level current. SOLUTION: A synchronous power generators 10, 20 are rotated respectively at the rated number of rotations by motors 11, 21 to establish the synchronization of these generators. Next, a controller 18 operates switches 13, 23 to connect to the field circuits of DC power supplies 14, 24 and synchronous motors 10, 20. Next, the controller 18 gradually raises the output voltages of the DC power supplies 14, 24 from zero to raise output voltages of the synchronous motors 10, 20. After the field current of synchronous motor 10 detected by a current transformer 16 almost reaches the current value during the no-load rated operation mode, an output voltage of DC power supply 24 is gradually made to be raised from zero to have the field current of the synchronous generator 20 raised gradually. When a generator output current detected by a current transformer 17 is close to zero, the switches 13, 23 are changed over to connect the automatic regulators 15, 25 to the field circuit.
