    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus in which a nitrogen oxide can be removed sufficiently and a load on a ventilation facility can be reduced by reducing the pressure loss.SOLUTION: An air cleaning apparatus includes a humidifier 210, a denitrating device 220, and a shield 230. The humidifier 210 includes a plurality of spray nozzles 211 each of which is exposed to air in the atmosphere flowing inside of an air duct 200 and directly sprays water into the air. The denitrating device 220 includes: a plurality of intake ports 221 for taking in air; a plurality of charging containers each opening the top and having a plurality of holes in the bottom thereof; a plurality of guide parts 223 each guiding the air taken in from each intake port 221 toward the bottom of each charging container; adhesives 224 each adsorbing and removing a nitrogen oxide in the air by circulating the air through the plurality of holes; and a plurality of outlet ports 225 each for exhausting air from which the nitrogen oxide has been removed. The denitrating device 220 is installed separately at a back stream side of the humidifier 210. The shield 230 is installed adjacently to the denitrating device 220 and an inner wall of the air duct 200 and closes the air duct 200 except the plurality of intake ports 221.
