    • PURPOSE:To provide an unlocking device of high reliability which will not unlock a lock in a locked state. CONSTITUTION:A closed magnetic circuit of the permanent magnet 31 of a first magnetic substance portion 30 provided to a lockarm 26 is formed between the permanent magnet 31 and the second magnetic substance portion 37 of a locklatch 34, and lines of magnetic force of the permanent magnet 31 effectively combine to the second magnetic substance portion 37 and firmly attract the lockarm 26 and the locklatch 34, thereby holding them in a locked state. To unlock the lock, lines of magnetic force that cancel out the lines of magnetic force generated by the attracting part of the permanent magnet 31 are generated by an electromagnet 43 to reduce the attractive force and attraction preventive plates 44, 45 are provided between the first magnetic substance portion 30 and the electromagnet 43 so that disconnection of the lockarm 26 is facilitated. A device of high reliability which surely operates is thus provided.

    • PURPOSE:To smoothly extend a pantograph by providing a drive cable to be belted with one end fixed to the head section of an extensible structure and the other end extended to a base section along the bar-like member of the element and a means to apply tension to the drive cable. CONSTITUTION:An extensible structure A is conceptually composed of only two pantograph elements 6 which are shown by bar-like members 4a and 4b and pulleys 61a to 61f provided in each hinge block. A pulley 61g is fixed to a fixing section. With one end of an extension drive cable 20 fixed to the pipe 22 at the head of the extensible structure through a spring 23, the extension drive cable 20 is led on each pulley in the order of pulleys 61a, 61b, 61c, 61d, 61e, and 61f, and pulleys 61f and 61g. The other end of the led extension drive cable 20 is connected to the take-up drum 38 of the extension drive mechanism 34 provided on a base through a free block 33 supporting a base end. The pantograph elements 6 can be extended by pulling the extension drive cable 20 in the direction shown by the arrow 63.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve transfer image formation of high speed and high quality by surely removing carrier liquid moved from the top of a toner image without staining surroundings after toner image formation using a liquid development agent. SOLUTION: A spraying nozzle 26 is provided which sprays gas on the toner image and pushes back the carrier liquid of the toner image surface to the upstream in the direction of rotation of a photoreceptor drum 11. A shielding wall 27 that changes passage of gas from the spraying nozzle 26 is arranged at the downstream side in the spraying direction of the spraying nozzle 26. A liquid pool 28 is steadily formed at the liquid pool position U on the photoreceptor drum 11 by using the gas from the spraying nozzle 26 and the gas from the shielding wall 27. The carrier liquid is removed from the surface of the photoreceptor drum 11 by making the carrier liquid flow down steadily along a liquid carrier guide plate 30 which comes into contact with the liquid pool 28.
