    • PURPOSE:To form a desired gap with good accuracy even with blocks of multiple pieces-molded or long ferrite cores by sandwiching a curved spring material which does not lose a spring characteristic at the bonding temp. between the adjacent blocks and pressurizing both ends. CONSTITUTION:SiO2 films 4 which are respectively adjusted to meet an optional gap length and glass 5 for improving an adhesive effect are formed by sputtering to several hundred angstrom thickness onto the ferrite blocks 1, 1' forming the gap in order to form the gap, then the blocks are set to butting jigs 11 made of alumina. The spring material which does not lose the spring characteristic at the bonding temp. and is preliminarily curved to a specified shape, for example, zirconia plate 10 is set and the butted blocks 1, 1' are set. A required number, for example, 10 pieces of the blocks are set and, for example, 9 pieces of the zirconia plates 10 are sandwiched therebetween. Dummies 6, 6' of ceramics are placed at both ends of the blocks 1, 1' and the zirconia plates 10 are sandwiched therebetween as well and are pressurized at one point.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head provided with high reliability and productivity by fixing a blade-like core having a projected part at its center to a hole on a groove part of a non-magnetic plate so that the projected part fits to the hole, dividing the fixed block along two virtual lines in a prescribed direction to form a magnetic gap on a U-shaped bottom part, and then performing prescribed working. CONSTITUTION:A groove 2 and a penetration hole 3 are formed on the center of the non-magnetic plate 1 and the blade like core 4 is made fit to the hole and fixed. The engaged block is cut off along virtual lines B-B', C-C' and divided into three parts. A U-shaped recording/reproducing head core 7 obtained by joining two cores 7a, 7b and having a magnetic gap G is inserted between the divided chips on the right and left sides. Consequently, a slider member obtained by forming erasing gpas Ge on the blade-like cores 4a, 4b cut off on both sides of the recording/reproducing gap G is obtained. A R/W coil 8 and a back bar 9 are formed on the core 7 and an erasing coil 10 and a back bar 11 are formed on the blade-like core part, so that a magnetic head provided with high reliability and productivity is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head of high accuracy which is suitable for use for a floppy disk by bonding magnetic cores for record/reproduction and erasion to the surface of a plate-shaped block member which is obtained by butting a magnetic gap for erasion adjacent to a magnetic gap for record/reproduction. CONSTITUTION:Grooves 92 and 92' are formed to the counter faces of nonmagnetic material blocks 91 and 91', and erasion head magnetic materials 52 and 52' having width smaller than the depth of grooves 92 and 92' are fitted into these grooves. While two ferrite thin plates 11 and 11' are butted to each other to obtain a composite plate having a magnetic gap 21. Then blocks 91 and 91' are bonded to both sides of the composite plate so that the gap 21 is positioned at the center between the materials 52 and 52'. These blocks are cut into plural slices as shown by botted lines, and magnetic thin film layers 14 and 14' are formed at both sides of materials 52 and 52' respectively. Thus a slider 9 for floppy disk is obtained. Then magnetic cores 12 and 13 for recording/reproduction and erasion are bonded to the surface of the slider 9. Thus a magnetic head having a high-accuracy gap is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To reproduce recorded information, by arranging gaps of magnetic heads in the reproducing direction at a distance proportional to the magnetic flux inverted length recorded on a magnetic recording medium, and subjecting the reproduced signals to arithmetic operation. CONSTITUTION:Two head gaps 302 and 303 are provided to a magnetic head at a distance equal to a magnetic flux inverted length with respect to a magnetic recording medium 301. When the medium 301 runs toward the arrow while is in contact with the gaps 302 and 303, the output of the gaps 302 and 303 is obtained as shown in 402 and 403. A reproducing signal for the recording as shown in a magnetic recording medium 501 from the gaps 302 and 303 is shaped as 502 and 503 by an output wave shape circuit 304. The output waveforms are synthesized at a logical circuit 305 to obtain an output waveform 504. An output waveform 505 is obtained from a delay circuit 306 and a logical circuit 307 as a readout synchronizing pulse, and recorded information 506 can be reproduced with the waveforms 504 and 505.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head having a magnetic track without chipping or cracks even when a metallic thin film is removed by machining while a slide face is protected by a metal. CONSTITUTION:Block shaped magnetic substances 1, 1' made of a brittle material such as ferrite are formed. Further, mirror surface grinding is applied to a slide face 2 with a magnetic medium 2 and a groove 3 is machined to the butt face and the blocks are butted by the method such as glass bonding to form a magnetic gap 4. Sputter or vapor deposition is applied to the slide face 2 of the magnetic gap 4 in a thickness of 1-2mum by a metal such as Cr to form the metallic thin film 5, the face is grinded by a grinder in a direction at a right angle to the magnetic gap 4 to engrave a track grove 6 thereby speprating unnecessary parts 7 at both ends and a magnetic head 8. Photo resist is applied to the separated magnetic head 8, the metallic mask is provided, a mask is formed by the photo lithography, ion etching is applied to form a magnetic track 9, the metallic thin film 5 is removed finally, then plural magnetic heads 8 at the center of which the magnetic track 9 is projected are obtained.
