摘要： PURPOSE:To realize the high track density of a magnetic disk device by maintaining uniform the air temperature between the disks while eliminating a circulating air flow in a shroud and by establishing an air passage having no dust residual between the disks. CONSTITUTION:By the centrifugal force resulting from the rotations of a disk 1, there is established an air flow which is directed as at arrow in the radially outward direction of the disk between the disks. The air flow is supplied by sucking the air above a disk pack upper side and a shroud 5 from an opening 1. As a result, the circulating flow between the upper side of the disk pack and the shroud 5 is eliminated so that clean air is supplied from a supply port 8 and so that its temperature is maintained uniform. Since, moreover, the air flow is supplied from the spacer 3 having a notch 2 to the clearance between the disks, the dusts, if any, are discharged instantly without any stay to a discharge port 7 by the air from the supply port 8. Thus, it is possible to realize the high track density of the magnetic disc device.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the circulating air current and thus secure the unified temperature among the disks, by providing the opening at the upper part of the disk holder of the disk pack and at the same time providing vent hole to the spacer to secure the air supply at both the upper and lower parts of the disk pack. CONSTITUTION:The clean air sent through air supply opening 20 is distributed to upper and lower opening parts 21 and 22. And the air jetted through part 21 flows along the upper wall surface of shroud 19 and is led between disks 12 and 12 through vent hole 16 of spacer 13 from the center part of disk pack 11. Thus the air circulation due to the rotation of disk 12 never occurs. At the same time, the air flowing along the upper wall surface of shroud 19 gives the suppression to the aging temperature change of the shroud. On the other hand, the air supplied through part 22 flows along the upper surface of base 18 to reduce the aging temperature change as well as reduce the heating of the bearing which bears spindle 17. In this way, the temperatures can be unified among the magnetic disks in a simple constitution.

Even if a housing 12 and the bearing 14 expaned or contract due to the variation of environmental temperature, the O-ring 19 deforms, and the bearing 14 is always pressed to the contact part of the fitting hole 16 so as not to shake in the bearing fitting hole 16, and the revolution of a revolution shaft 11 in high accuracy can be maintained.

The magnetic garnet 7, 1/2-wavelength plates 5 and 6, and magnet 8 of the optical element part are joined and held on the metallic cases 9, 10, and 11 by welding using metal solder and the optical element part is slanted for the suppression of characteristic deterioration.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate completely the position shift of a spindle and to keep a fixed relative position relation between a head and a disk at all times, by using a fixing ring to fix an outer ring of a bearing at the fixed side to a bearing housing. CONSTITUTION:An inner ring of a bearing 9 at the fixed side is pressed into a spindle shaft 7 and fixed there by a stopper ring 16. While an outer ring of the bearing 9 is fitted to a bearing housing 17 and fixed there in the axial direction by a fixing ring 18. The housing 17 is positioned in the axial direction by an alignment plate 19 which is fixed to an upper housing base 2 of the housing 17. In such a constitution, a spindle 1 has no shift at all in the axial direction even in case the force larger than the pressurization is applied to the spindle 1. Thus it is possible to always keep a fixed relative position relation between a disk and a head in the axial direction.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the tilt of a spindle owing to the vibrations, heat and impacts and to avoid an off-track phenomenon, by forming a through hole to a housing base through a bearing housing and setting a spring to said through hole. CONSTITUTION:A motor and a magnetic head disk assembly 3 are set on a base plate 1. The assembly 3 contains housing bases 4 and 5, a spindle 6, a carriage 7, a magnetic circuit 8, a baring housing 10 and a magnetic disk group 16. A through hole 18 is formed to the base 4 for linkage to the housing 10. The radial load is applied to a bearing 13 from a spring 20 put into a through hole 19 via the housing 10. This prevents the tilt of the spindle 6 owing to the vibrations, heat or external impacts which are produced during revolutions of the spindle 6. Therefore an off-track phenomenon can be avoided.

Further, the air spoiler 13 extending from in the magnetic disk group 7 to the signal pickup cable 16 of the magnetic head group 10 is provided in front of the magnetic head group 10 in the rotating direction of the magnetic disk group 7.
