      CONSTITUTION: In kneading the magnetic coating material by a ball mill, an appropriate amt., determined by experimental data, of alumina balls and resinous balls is used, and the content of the alumina or the resin in the magnetic coating material obtained by kneading is controlled to a desired value. Consequently, the content of alumina particles as a reinforcement in the magnetic coating material and the content of the resin as a magnetic recording medium having excellent SN ratio and coated film strength and hardly damaging a magnetic head can be produced.

    • PURPOSE:To minimize the radial position shift of a magnetic head due to a thermal change, oscillation, etc., by making end parts of the folded part of a flexible structure support part nearly parallel to the surface jointed with a floating slider, joining the parallel surfaces with a rigid structure support pressing part, and connecting those joint part continuously through a slanting surface. CONSTITUTION:The rigid structure support pressing part 10 has a rigid structure using a stainless steel plate and is in a horizontal shape. The joint surface 13 between the flexible structure support part 11 and slider 2 and the joint surface 12 of the rigid structure support pressing part 10 are separated by a groove 15, and the joint surface 12 is bent at the end part (joint surface 12) of the folded part nearly in parallel to the joint surface 13; and the support member 11 is joined with the pressing part 10 at the bent part C, its joint part (a) is made continuous through the slanting surface, and a dowel 14 is formed on the joint surface 13 so that the pressing part 10 presses the slider 2 at one point. When the slider 2 is pressed, the end part 12 becomes nearly parallel to the joint surface 13, and no stress is given to the support part 11 because of the slanting surface of the joint part (a). Further, the support part 10 and slider 2 are installed in parallel through bent parts (b) and (c). Thus, an off-track extent is reduced regardless of the upward/downward displacement of a head fitting part 5.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease a change in the amplitude reduction of an output waveform and to make the waveform thin and sharp by combining a cosine equalizing circuit into two stages or over. CONSTITUTION:This circuit is a multi-stage waveform equalizing circuit used for a readout circuit of a magnetic recorder and formed by combining cosine equalizing circuits 11, 12 into two stages or over. For example, the 1st stage circuit 11 is formed with a matching resistor 14, a delay line 15, buffers 16, 17 whose gain is the unity, gain setting variable resistors 18, 19 and differential amplifiers 20, 21 and the 2nd stage circuit 12 is formed with matching resistors 22, 23, delay lines 24, 25, buffers 26, 27 whose gain is the unity, a gain setting variable resistor 28, and a differential amplifier 29. Thus, the input side the delay lines 15, 24, 25 is used as the matching and the output side is used as an open circuit, the unmatching state is formed to apply unmatching reflection to the signal.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate a crack on the surface of a magnetic disk medium at the time of contact, start and stop by recessing the air bearing forming surface of the center rail of a magnetic head slider from the air bearing forming surface of a both-side slider in surface level. CONSTITUTION:The air bearing forming surface of the center rail 13' of the magnetic head slider 8' and the air bearing forming surface of the both-side slider 12 are not finished on the same plane, but the center rail 13' is slightly recessed and formed. Thus the projection (a) of a magnetic disk medium 3 does not come to contact with the center rail 13 of a magnetic head slider 8 at the time of contact, start and stop, and the surface of a magnetic disk medium 3 is never damaged even if waviness lines on the surface of the magnetic disk medium 3, because the air bearing forming surface of the center rail 13' is lower than that of the both-side slider 12.
