The incoming terminal equipment 7 retrieves the subscriber information of the opposite party talked precedingly stored in the memory 2 of the incoming terminal equipment 7 based on the outgoing ID information received by the operation of the control section 4 and displays the opposite name on the display section 3 of the said incoming terminal equipment.

    • PURPOSE:To always display a map having the minimum displaying extent but always including a required address area by retrieving an area table for the address area and, after deciding an area including the coordinate information of the obtained address area as the displaying area of a map, displaying the map after retrieving a map data base for the map on the basis of the decided area. CONSTITUTION:In an area retrieving process, an address code is fetched from a work memory 2-7 and, after the address area is obtained by retrieving an area table 2-4 by using the address code as a key, the area information of the area is stored in the memory 2-7. Then, in a displaying area deciding process, the area information is fetched from the memory 2-7 and a rectangular area including the area indicated by the area information is decided. In a map displaying process, the map information stored in the memory 2-7 is read out and displayed on a displaying section 2-2. Therefore, the map retrieving time can be reduced, since a map including a whole address area can be displayed and a map having the minimum displaying area can be retrieved and, as a result, a map which is enlarged to the utmost, but includes a whole address area, can be always displayed.

    • PURPOSE:To guide telephone directory records close to a fixed number by retrieving a telephone directory after deciding an area so that the number of telephone directory records can be more than the number decided in advance while utilizing statistical information to control the number of the telephone directory records for each occupation for the unit of a mesh. CONSTITUTION:An input part 1, storage device part 2, work memory 3, display part 4 and control part 5 to be connected to the display part 4 are provided. When the name of the occupation and the name of an object are inputted, the control part 5 calculates the coordinates of the object from the data base of the storage device part 2 and investigates the number of the telephone directory records for the occupation corresponding to the inputted name of the occupation in respect to the mesh including the calculated coordinates of the object. Then, when the number of records does not each a prescribed number, the area is successively enlarged until the number of the telephone directory records reaches the prescribed number, and the retrieving area is decided. According to the decided area and the designated occupation, a telephone directory data base is retrieved and displayed. Thus, the telephone directory records, which number is closed to the fixed number, are retrieved corresponding to the inputted occupation and the almost same number of telephone directory solutions can be always guided.

Subsequently, the stored telephone directory retrieval condition is fetched, a telephone directory data base 3 is retrieved, and a telephone directory solution which coincides with the condition is stored in the work memory 6. Next, the stored telephone directory solution is displayed on a display part 2. Thereafter, when the displayed telephone directory solution is selected, and also, an instruction for displaying a map is inputted from the input part 1, the coordinate of the selected telephone directory solution is fetched from the work memory 6 and stored as a telephone directory coordinate in the work memory 6. In such a state, the telephone directory coordinate is fetched and the adjacent target is obtained from a target data base 8, a display area containing the telephone directory coordinate and the target coordinate is determined, and the map containing the target is displayed on the display part 2.

CONSTITUTION:The road boundary data stored in a 1st work memory 2-1 is used as the input data and the segments having the same start and end points are successively connected with each other. Then the data recompiled for each closed loop is delivered to a 2nd work memory 2-2 and plural points set in the variance within a fixed distance are linearly approximated to be outputted to a 3rd work memory 2-3. Then the segments which form the roads in pairs with each segment are extracted for acquisition of equidistant center lines. The cross point between obtained two center lines is defined as an intersection and outputted to a 4th work memory 2-4. Furthermore the points are complemented and corrected in order to define the overlapping part between the segments of adjacent loops set in the deviation within a fixed distance as the same segment. This segment is outputted to a 5th work memory 2-5. In such a way, the road network data is produced automatically.

    • PURPOSE:To make the retrieving center side prepare just a single type of the transfer data for display data by displaying the reception data at an optional position on a screen after dividing it by a terminal device into each item according to the display data length and the data type information. CONSTITUTION:A terminal device divides the received transfer data 11 into each item according to the display data 13-i and then discriminates a caption or a retrieval answer by the data type information 12-i. Then a caption 17 and a retrieval answer 18-i are displayed on a screen in accordance with a fixed rule as long as a terminal display screen 15 can display all display data. If it is impossible to display all data within a screen, both the caption 17 and the answer 18-i(i=1-n) are displayed on the 1st display screen 16-1 based on a fixed rule. For the retrieval answers with which the display was impossible, both the caption 17 and undisplayed retrieval answers 18-i(i=n+1-m-1) are displayed on the 2nd screen 16-2 by the next screen request 19. Other undisplayed retrieval answers if exist are divided and displayed on many other screens.
