SOLUTION: At a node (11 or 31) on the side where an abnormality has occurred, that communication route is closed and the opposite node (31 or 11) is designated to close that communication route. Conduction test is then performed between each node and each unit (150, 120, 130, 20, 330, 320, 350 or 151, 121, 131, 20, 331, 321, 351) on the closed route and the results are notified to the opposite node. Each node locates a failed part based on the test results on its own node side and the test results on the opposite node side. The circuit 31 judges that neither of the information processors 10 and 20 has got out of order when they do not match each other. When they do not match each other, the CPUs 11 and 21 are informed of that and a new access request is made on the basis of preliminarily prepared data; and those data are compared with data held in a register 34 for fault processing to decide which of the information processor has got out of order.
