The device main body is arranged in water, and at least either one of its aboveground part or underwater part is provided with terminals 26 and 27 for signal input connected to the signal measuring circuit part or signal processing circuit part. Through the use of these terminals 26 and 27, weather data detected by a weather sensor arranged at a ground level is captured in the water quality sensor device main body 20 and detected data from another water quality sensor 31 arranged outside the underwater part of the device main body is collected.

CONSTITUTION: SD(data from terminal to modem) and SG(ground for signal line) signal terminals of a data circuit terminating equipment (DCE) are connected to a data terminal (DTE) provided with only an SD signal terminal, an RD(data from modem to terminal) signal terminal, and an SG signal terminal as they are, and an RS(request of reply from modan to terminal) signal terminal and an ER signal terminal are connected to a CS(permission to RS) signal terminal by short-circuiting. By this connection, RS and ER signals can be obtained from the DTE, and the automatic terminating operation is possible. Meanwhile, when the power source of a modem 2 is turned on, the CS signal terminal of the modem 2 is turned on, and RS and ER signal terminals connected to the CS signal terminal by short- circuiting are turned on also, and the modem 2 is always held in the transmittable/receivable state. Even if the SD signal is sent from a measurer 1 before or during incoming, it is not interpreted as a command because the modem 2 is in the DAM mode, and the transmittable/ receivable state is set by the normal terminating operation sequence.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the multilevel recording and reproducing of the unit of magnetic flux quantum by performing the multilevel recording and reproducing at the unit of the magnetic flux quantum by controlling the number and the direction of the magnetic flux quantum to be pinned on a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic field is impressed to the recording medium 10 and simultaneously, light is converged and projected from an objective lens 4, because the temperature of an irradiated part rises and exceeds a critical temperature, a magnetic flux intrudes inside a superconducting thin film 11. Next, when the projection of the light is stopped, the temperature of said part drops, and at last, it comes below the critical temperature, and a superconductive state is restored, and at that time, a part of the magnetic flux having intruded in the superconducting thin film 11 is pinned at a pinning center such as the lattice defect, etc., of the superconducting thin film 11, and is held in the recording medium even if the magnetic field is removed. Accordingly, by controlling the number and the direction of the magnetic flux quantum to be pinned at the lattice defect, etc., by changing the magnitude and the direction of a current to be flown in a recording head, information recording at multi-level can be performed. Thus, the multi-level information recording/reproducing can be performed.

    • PURPOSE:To realize the rotation driving of a magnetic disk rotating body at the critical temperature of a superconductor by mounting a strong magnet between magnetic disks and arranging the superconductor around it. CONSTITUTION:Magnets 12-13 and superconductors 9 and 10 are arranged at the cavity part between magnetic disk media and a magnetic disk rotating body is supported non-contactly with an enclosure 7 of a head disk assembly. Consequently, when an atmosphere temperature arrives at the temperature to display the function of the superconductors 9 and 10, namely, a critical temperature, the rotating body composed of a magnetic disk 1, a clamp ring 2, a hub 3', a disk lamp 4 and a rotor 14b of a motor 14 floats by the repulsive force to occur between respective magnets 12 and 13 and the superconductors 9 and 10 corresponding to respective ones and is supported non-contactly with the enclosure of a head disk assembly. Thus, at the very low temperature conditions, namely, the critical temperature of the superconductor, the rotation driving of the magnetic disk rotating body can be realized.

    • PURPOSE:To equalize both the phase and amplitude characteristic by combining a means giving a differentiation characteristic to a differential amplification means and giving a frequency characteristic in obtaining a difference signal between both the signals. CONSTITUTION:A delay output of a delay line 2 and an echo signal are fed to bases of transistors (TRs) 11, 12. The amplitude of the echo signal is adjusted by a variable resistor 18 and the result is fed to a base of a TR 20. A couple of TRs 19,20 constitutes the differential amplifier to obtain a signal difference between the delay signal and the echo signal, and each emitter is connected to a collector of a TR 26 constituting a constant current source. A capacitor 29 (capacitance Cx) is connected between the intermediate point between resistors 27, 28 and the collector of the TR 26 and the phase equalizing characteristic is given by a differentiation circuit comprising the resistors 27, 28 and the capacitor 29.
