    • PURPOSE:To correctly evaluate the performance of an electromagnetic field impressing device for use in an interfering wave bearing power test by installing diffused objects in a interfering wave bearing power test device, measuring change of the diffusion electromagnetic field produced, and comparing the result with the corresponding theoretical value. CONSTITUTION:For example, a metal ball 2 is placed in a TEM cell 1. An electric field sensor 3 for measuring the electric field distribution around the metal ball 2 has as small an element as practicable to enable measurement of the spot intensity of electric field and is constructed as small as possible so as not to cause turbulence in the electric field distribution. For example, a 8mm element and the sensor 3 are connected together by a resistance wire while the sensor 3 and a display 5 are by an optical fiber cable 4 to lessen the influence upon the electric field distribution. Then measurement is conducted under certain conditions. In this manner, a ball whose electromagnetic field distribution when placed in a plane wave is clarified theoretically, is placed, and each electric field distribution in this case is measured, and this is compared with the theoretical value to serve knowing the size of the specimen which is measurable.
