    • PURPOSE:To obtain magnetic levitation function by providing a controlling means connected to a plurality of electromagnets located opposite to an outer surface of a spherical body and a slit detecting means for controlling supplied current to the electromagnets so that equal slits are provided between the respective electromagnets and the spherical body. CONSTITUTION:Since current is supplied from a driving current adjuster 12 to each of electromagnets 4 with operation of control circuit to excite the electromagnets 4 to have a spherical body 1 sucked, the spherical body 1 comes off a sliding bearing 7 to be floated in the air. On the other hand, a slit amount between the outer surface of the spherical body 1 and a slit sensor 6 is detected by each slit sensor 6 and each detected value is input to an I/O port 11 via a filter 10. A CPU 13, based on the difference among the respective detected values, supplies individual control signals so that the respective slit amounts are equal to the adjuster 12 via the I/O port 11, and the adjuster 12 increases/ decreases the current amount to be output to the electromagnets 4 according to the control signals. Therefore the slit amounts between the peripheral body 1 and the sensors 6 are kept equal so that the spherical body 1 is kept at the desired spatial position.
