    • PURPOSE:To obtain a desensitizer having an excellent desenstitizing effect on no-carbon pressure-sensitive duplicate paper and enabling even printers other than latterpress printers to perform printing by using an alkylene oxide-addition product of a specific resin having hydroxyl groups. CONSTITUTION:A densitizer contians an alkylene oxide-addition product of a resin having hydroxyl groups, obtained by selectively hydrogenating said resin (or its double bond only) obtained from a compound (A) from a 5-membered ring compound having conjugated double bonds or from Diels-Alder reaction of the compound, represented by the formula (where R is a C1-C3 organic residuel group and m+n=6) and a compound (B) having polymerizable double bonds and hydroxyl groups in the same molecule. As the component (A), cyclopentadiene, methyldicyclopentadiene, etc., may be cited, and as the component (B), (meth)allyl alcohol, 2-hydroxyethyl (metha)acrylate, etc., may be cited.

    • PURPOSE: The titled composition, prepared by incorporating an epoxy compound with a low-molecular weight unsaturated compound obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to phenol, etc., and esterifying the resultant addition product with (meth)acrylic acid and a photosensitizer, and curable in a short time.
      CONSTITUTION: A composition obtained by incorporating (A) an epoxy compound having preferably 200W4,000 molecular weight, e.g. bisphenol type epoxy compound, with (B) a low-molecular weight unsaturated compound obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to at least one of (un)substituted phenol, bisphenol and aliphatic polyhydric alcohol, and further esterifying the resultant addition product with (meth)acrylic acid, and (C) if necessary a radical polymerization initiator, e.g. benzoin, preferably at (10W80):(20W90):(0W15) weight ratio of the components (A), (B) and (C).
      EFFECT: Improved adhesion and bending property and, suitable for offset printing.
