摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve watertightness by a packing as well as to reliably perform pipe connection in a short time. SOLUTION: When an inserting pipe 11 is inserted into a socket 3, a stopper 4 projecting into the inside of the socket 3 by the action of a spring is pressed by a projecting part 1 and projected to the outside of the socket 3 against spring force. When the insertion of the inserting pipe 11 is progressed after the stopper 4 is further turned, the engagement of the projecting part 1 and the stopper 4 is released, the stopper 4 is again projected to the inside by the spring, a protrusion 8 is brought in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the socket 3, and the rotation is stopped. Since the projecting part 1 is brought in contact with the stopper 4 even if drawing force is generated on the projecting part 1, the inserting pipe 11 is prevented from slipping off from the socket 3. A packing 2 provided on the pipe end of the inserting pipe 11 is sealed in an approximately cylindrical space formed of a parallel part (a) of a receiving pipe 12 provided with the socket 3, the inserting pipe 11, and a seal stopper 13 provided on the inserting pipe 11.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the excellent water cut-off ability by fitting a hollow body made of rubber, which is provided in the water swelling rubber in the surface thereof and which can be swelled, between members opposite to each other with a clearance, and filling this hollow part with the filling material so as to swell the hollow body, and swelling the water swelling rubber. SOLUTION: In case of connecting a pipe A, of which end is formed with a widened diameter part, and a pipe B, of which end is provided with a spigot 2, a compound seal material 3 is interposed between both taper surfaces of the widened diameter part 1 and the spigot 2. A base of this compound seal material 3 is formed of an annular hollow body 4 made of rubber and having a hollow part 40 , which can be swelled, and installed so as to surround the full circumference of the taper part of the spigot 2. The filing material 6 is fed into the hollow part 4 of the compound seal material 3 by a filling device 10 through a mouthpiece 5, and in the condition that the hollow body 4 is swelled between the widened diameter part 1 and the spigot 2, the water swelling rubber 7, which is provided over the full circumference of the compound seal material 3, absorbs the water of the periphery so as to conclude the cut-off of water.
