摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dephosphorizing efficiency of a hot metal at low costs by charging the hot metal into a converter and adding the slag making material containing CaO regulated in the specified grain size or below into the converter during blowing oxygen for the hot metal. SOLUTION: The specific surface area of the grain of the flux making material becomes large by regulating the grain size of the flux making material containing CaO into 30 mm or below, even though the surface of the grain is coated with SiO2 , the quantity of CaO remaining in the vicinity of the center of the grain is reduced. As the result of it, CaO is completely dissolved, uniform slag is generated and is smoothly made to progress, whereby dephosphorization of the hot metal is efficiently executed. By this way, even when the content of Si is risen into 0.3% or above in the unstationary state at the time of the rising operation or the like after blowing-off in a blast furnace, refining by dephosphorization is efficiently executed and the quantity of steel manufactured from the molten steel after that is largely improved.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating method capable of restraining the stuck quantity of metal to a furnace opening hole, and melting and removing the stuck metal without damaging refractories of the furnace opening hole in the case of sticking a fixed quantity or more of the metal. SOLUTION: The blowing of a heat having =10kg/t-steel slag in the previous heat in the furnace and having =80% in the continuous arbitrary plural heats. Further, the pre-dephosphorized molten metal having P concn. at less than the P concn. needed in the product is used. The jetting direction of the oxygen for melting the metal is made to 40-90 deg. downward to the perpendicular direction.
